Natalie G. ★★★★★ Oct 21, 2026

The metal barrel feels solid in hand, and autofocus locks onto eyes faster than I expected for such a large aperture.

Robert ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

The bokeh at f/1.8 is exactly what I hoped for—creamy and soft, even in tricky light. Autofocus locks onto eyes quickly on my α7 IV, and the 85mm length makes it perfect for portraits without crowding the subject.

Benjamin ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

I’ve been using this 85mm f/1.8 for portraits, and the bokeh is gorgeous—smooth and creamy even with the aperture wide open. The metal build feels solid but light enough to carry around all day.
