I’ve been using this lens on my Z6 III for wildlife shots, and the weight makes a huge difference when hiking. The hybrid autofocus tracks eyes reliably even in low contrast, which really surprised me.

The autofocus locks onto birds in flight faster than I can frame them, and the whole setup balances perfectly on my Z6 III. It's remarkably light for a telezoom this range, so I actually carried it on a whole day hike without my shoulder complaining once.

The autofocus is incredibly quick and quiet—perfect for catching birds in flight without spooking them. For such a lightweight lens, I’m genuinely surprised by the sharpness across the frame even wide open.
