Joshua ★★★★★ Oct 22, 2026

The autofocus locks onto eyes so fast on my α7 IV that I barely miss shots anymore, even wide open at f1.4. Tack sharp in the center and that creamy fall-off makes portraits look like they cost ten times more.

Edward K. ★★★★★ Oct 21, 2026

The bokeh from this f1.4 aperture is incredibly smooth, making portrait backgrounds just melt away. It's sharp even wide open, which is exactly what I needed for low-light event shots.

Mia ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

I’ve been shooting portraits with this lens and the autofocus is snappy, even in dim light. The f1.4 lets in so much light that I can keep ISO low without a flash.
