Stella T. ★★★★★

The focus ring torque is so well-damped that nailing critical focus at 1.4x feels surgical, and the bokeh from that f/2.8 aperture is unreal for isolating tiny details. I've had it on my body all week and the image stabilization makes handheld shots look tripod-mounted.

Violet U. ★★★★★

The 1.4x magnification lets me get closer to tiny insects than my old macro lens ever could, and the sharpness holds up even wide open at f2.8. Autofocus is quick and quiet, which matters a lot when you're trying not to scare off a skittish subject.
