Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm 1:1.8 S

The chromatic aberration control on this lens is noticeably tighter than my older glass. It’s sharp corner-to-corner even wide open, and the build quality feels rock solid for everyday carry.

The bokeh at f/1.8 is buttery smooth, but what really sold me is how the Z mount locks on instantly—no hunting even in low light. It’s become my go-to for street shots on the Z6 III, and the sharpness wide open is honestly a pleasant surprise.

The depth of field at f/1.8 is incredibly smooth, and the sharpness across the frame makes every shot look professional. I’ve gotten some stunning wide-angle portraits with this lens on my Z6 III, and the build feels solid.
