Canon RF 24mm f1.8 Macro IS STM

I was surprised how well this lens handles low light, f1.8 really makes a difference indoors, and the compact size means it doesn’t weigh down my bag.

The autofocus is incredibly quiet and snappy, which makes a huge difference when I'm shooting video on my R5 II. Being able to switch from a wide landscape to a close-up macro shot without changing lenses is a real time-saver.

I mostly shoot interiors and food, so a wide lens that focuses this close is exactly what I needed — I can get right up on a plate of pasta and still show the whole table behind it. It's tiny enough to leave on the camera all day, and the stabilization actually holds up in dim restaurants.
