Canon RF-S 10-18mm f4,5-6,3 IS STM

Took this on a weekend trip and forgot it was even in my bag — 150 grams is nothing, and the collapsed length makes it disappear next to my water bottle. The f/4.5-6.3 aperture is a bit slow indoors, but for bright daylight travel shots it's the perfect walking-around lens.

At 150 grams I barely notice it hanging off my camera all day, which is exactly what I wanted for hiking. The 10mm end gives me that wide sweeping view of landscapes without hauling around a bulky lens. Sharp enough that I stopped second-guessing leaving the heavier glass at home.

Tossed this in my bag for a weekend trip and barely noticed the extra 150 grams. At 10mm it swallows entire buildings in one frame, which saved me constantly backing into traffic. Stabilization is decent enough for handheld shots in dim alleys too.
