سوني SEL FE 28-60mm f4-5.6

For a full-frame kit lens this thing is absurdly compact, slips into my bag without rearranging anything, and the sharpness wide open at 28mm genuinely surprised me. Focus ring is smooth enough for video pulls too.

The autofocus is noticeably snappier than my older kit lens, and the compact size makes it easy to keep on the camera all day.

I was worried this lens would be too slow for indoor shots, but the autofocus on my camera locks on quickly even in dim light. The zoom ring has a nice, damped feel that makes adjustments smooth and precise. Overall, a great walk-around lens for daily shooting.
