The metal build feels reassuringly solid, and the autofocus locks on quickly even in dim light—I used it for a night sky session and the stars came out tack sharp. Sharpness across the frame is genuinely impressive for such a wide angle.

LAOWA AF 10mm f2,8 Zero-D FF für Sony E

The 66.8MP sensor gives me so much cropping room in post, and the 8K footage is buttery smooth straight out of camera. Only gripe is the file sizes are massive, but that's the price you pay for this level of detail.

I love how sharp this lens stays even at 12mm wide open — it's a game-changer for tight indoor architecture shots. The constant f4 aperture means I don't have to fiddle with exposure settings while zooming.

Sony FE 12-24mm f4 G SEL1224G

The constant f4 aperture is a lifesaver when switching between wide and telephoto shots, and the OSS stabilization lets me shoot handheld at 1/15th without blur. It’s sharp enough that I’m not missing my primes for everyday use, and the zoom ring has just the right amount of resistance for smooth video pulls.
