Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 50mm f2,8

The f/2.8 aperture gives a beautifully soft background blur for portraits, and the lens is light enough to carry around all day without fatigue.

I was worried a macro lens might be bulky, but this one balances perfectly on the Z6 III. The autofocus for street portraits is snappy and the bokeh is surprisingly creamy for a 50mm.

The close-focus ability is incredible; I can get within inches of a flower petal and still capture every tiny vein and dewdrop. For portraits, the bokeh at f/2.8 is smooth enough to make backgrounds melt away without losing that sharp subject focus. It’s compact enough for street photography but doe
