Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm f1,4

The fast f1.4 aperture really lets me grab sharp street shots even in dim alley light, and the autofocus is snappy on my camera. It’s light enough to carry all day without getting tired.

I shot an entire evening wedding reception with this lens and didn't once miss the zoom. The 35mm focal length feels natural for candid shots, and the focus ring has a nice damped resistance.

The f/1.4 aperture is incredibly freeing for low-light street shots, easily letting me keep the ISO down at dusk without breaking a sweat. It feels compact enough on the Z6 III that I barely notice it's there, yet the image quality is razor sharp wide open.
