Sony SEL 400mm f2.8 GM OSS

The autofocus locks onto birds mid-flight so fast I barely miss a shot anymore, and the f2.8 aperture keeps backgrounds beautifully soft. It's heavy but balances well on my α7 IV, making handheld action shots feel steady and intuitive.

Even in low evening light, this lens keeps the image incredibly sharp with almost no chromatic aberration, and the f/2.8 aperture gives me that creamy background separation. The focus ring dampening feels just right for precise manual adjustments when needed.
