Sigma 85mm f1,4 DG DN (A) Sony-E

The autofocus is lightning quick on my α7 IV, locking onto eyes even in low light without hunting. Build quality feels solid with a nice metal barrel, though it's slightly heavier than I expected for a walk-around lens.

The bokeh wide open at f1.4 is just dreamy, and the weather sealing gives me peace of mind when shooting outdoors. I’ve been using it for portraits and the 85cm minimum focus distance lets me get nice and close for detail shots.

Autofocus on my α7 IV locks onto eyes in near darkness, and the f/1.4 aperture gives a dreamy background blur that’s incredibly smooth. The compact size surprised me for such a fast lens, making it easy to carry for a whole shoot without fatigue.
