Panasonic Blitz DMW-FL580LE

Took this flash out for an evening portrait session and the guide number performance really shines in low light. The recycle time is impressively quick, barely a second at half power. Definitely a solid upgrade from my old unit.

I was worried about battery life, but this flash easily powered through an entire wedding reception without needing a swap. The guide number control is precise, letting me dial in just the right amount of light for close-up portraits.

The recycle time between full-power shots is noticeably snappier than my old flash, and the head tilts smoothly for ceiling bounce without feeling flimsy. Battery drain is minimal even after a long event shoot, which matters when you're chasing a moving subject.
