Panasonic DMW-FL200LE

I was worried a compact flash wouldn’t have enough punch, but this one handles bounce shots fine with the swivel head, and the LED mode is a nice bonus for quick video clips. Took a few minutes to figure out the two AA battery setup, but it’s solid for the price.

The swivel reflector makes bouncing flash off walls so easy for indoor shots, and it’s great having the LED video light option built right in. Powered by two AAs, it’s small enough to toss in my bag without adding bulk.

Bought this for video work and the LED continuous light function is surprisingly useful for close-up shots, saving me from hauling a separate panel. Runs fine on regular AA batteries too.
