The image stabilization is a lifesaver for handheld video, and the whole thing barely adds any weight to my bag. It's sharp enough for everyday travel shots and perfect for quick vlogging sessions on the R5 II.

The 24-50 range covers most of what I actually shoot, and the optical stabilization made handheld shots at dusk way sharper than I expected. It weighs almost nothing on the R5 II, so I can carry it all day without feeling it.

Took this on a two-week trip and barely noticed it in my bag, which is exactly what I wanted from a walkaround zoom. The optical stabilization saved a few handheld shots at dusk that I fully expected to be blurry.
